XnView Crashing Randomly :x

Post by zophar »

Hi. I'm having a problem with XnView crashing randomly. I'll be viewing pictures (I only use it's picture capabilities) & for no reason the entire program quits. Not even listed in taskman anymore. It's very random sometimes going a couple hours with no problems sometimes one right after another after restarting it. There's no set picture it does it on, and in fact half the reason I like XnView is it does handle any corrupt pictures I do happen to come across better then ACDSee did. The only common thing I can see is it has always been jpegs it's crashed on... havn't had it crash on gifs, pngs or bmps. It is the newest version & is set to default view for all picture types while media player handles any videos. Is anyone able to brainstorm some ideas or is this a known error?

Perhaps you can check by disabling option/View/File lsit /Read ahead

Ok, I will try that. I'll post results in a few days. Thanks.
