Alpha channel in PNGs

Post by SharkD » Sun Jul 30, 2006 6:54 am

Two problems:

1) XnView reports all my 32-bit PNGs as 24-bit, TrueColor--despite displaying the files properly
2) alpha channel is lost when cropping images

I'm using the March 3, 2006 build.

Sorry for the three posts.

Anyway, I just checked, and it's only reporting the bit-depth improperly in the status bar of the program. If I view the file's properties, then the bit-depth is reported correctly.

It's because you have option/png/Read/compose...
