As SageThumbs is a Windows Explorer context menu extension, there is no an executable file that you should launch to bring it up. To use it, just open any folder with image files in Windows Explorer, and then right-click a file you want to preview. You'll see the thumbnail immediately in the context menu.
System Requirement
* Windows XP/2003/Vista/7 or higher, 32/64-bit.
* About 1.5 Mb of disk space

you silently post things here which I find very exiting and useful: There's the plug-ins for displaying SWF, HTML, and ASC files in XnView. Now I just stumbled over your SageThumbs.
Displaying a thumbnail in the context menu of MS Windows Explorer is nice and makes working with image files even more flexible. Another very nice and handy software of you!
I'm not quite clear regarding the licencing:
SageThumbs is under GPL, that means freeware for everyone, but it uses GLF SDK of Pierre. Perhaps Pierre or you can clarify this and reply here.
Do NOT use SageThumbs, it does not uninstall properly leaving lots of registry entries to a program that doesn't exist anymore. After uninstalling SageThumbs I couldn't the Preview feature in xplorer2 to view my pictures anymore!
Now I have to manually clean the registry out...
IC now, the developer replaced this entry
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.jpg\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}
{7376D660-C583-11d0-A3A5-00C04FD706EC}
with
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.jpg\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}
{with his own}
Don't mess with Microsoft's default code!!!!!
and my PNG's are screwed up too, omfg look at the damage....

could you please clarify? If it is true what ckit writes, this should be fixed. Please also let us know about the impact/damage people could experience when using/uninstalling.
Easy just install xplorer2 lite (freeware) - http://netez.com/xplorer2/ and try to use it's Preview feature for images, you can't!! It's taken me 30mins to fix this and I'm still going replacing one entry after another... sigh easier to format and start over.
Also can Nikolay Raspopov, list the added/modified registry keys that this program writes.
Features:
* Thumbnail image view of explorer folder

Mozilla (Firefox as well) and Getright users will have to download this through Internet Explorer with Getright completely disabled. I've tried playing with Getright's refer values and ignoring servers options none of which seem to work

Do you have Getright installed with the Getright Mozilla plugin as well? Without Getright and it's plugin, Firefox probably could download it fine. I'm using Getright v5.1 and Firefox 0.9.1 (with the special security patch that 0.9.2 has installed)

i don't have getright, when i download the plugin it appears a page saying redirecting or something similar i used getright in the past and it should handle such situations, maybe setting browser identification to "IE6" into getright may help.
