A: Strange crash

Post by ouistiti »

WinXP SP2 + all updates
XnView last Alpha version

1° Start XnView
2° If necessary : Click on "Close" in "Tip of the day"
3° CTRL + W
4° Click on "Tools"
5° Click on "Options"
6° Click on "Thumbnail"
7° In "Appearance" change one option (No matter which one)
8° Click on "OK"... XnView crashes ! :(

If I don't press CTRL + W (Point 3) I have no crash !

I can reproduce this behaviour on a brand new installation (xnView.ini = 0 bytes) or an already customised one.

Can somebody else also reproduce this problem ?

Friendly

Paul

Added : Same behaviour on 2 others PC (WinXP and Win2K)

L'important n'est pas de convaincre, mais de donner à réfléchir.
The important thing is not to convince, but to incite to think.

:) Hello Paul !

• I cannot reproduce this here under Win XP-Pro SP1.

- Neither if a file is open prior, nor if there is not any one, nor using the <Browser> button or whatever option(s) I can change in the thumb-nails settings… :?
