Batch Rename

Post by Guest »

1. Rename should not change file extension. To-lower and to-upper case is allowed.

2. Batch rename should have multiple templates, which should be created by user, saved and loaded when required.

3. How to rename the following: IMG_1234.JPG --> 2006-09-18_15h22m_1234.jpg ? Currently I'm using "THE Rename" and "Exifer" for this rename. XnView would benefit implementing flexible renaming.

4. An option for powerful users is to use regular expressions notation.

1. I don't understand, you can disable/configure everything there.

3. Use the Insert button to insert what you need. More in the FAQ.

Yes, can we please have regular expressions for the replace text field?
Get the bugs fixed, THEN start adding features. It sucks, but someone has to do it.
