A3: Request to add archive to TreeView

Post by Nelson »

Since XnView can read archive files, we can see archives as folders.
(You double click a folder to see the images in the folder, also you double click a archive to see the images in the archive. So they look like the same.)

So I think XnView should add archive items to TreeView.
How do you guys think about it?

:) Hello !

• I'm a Total Commander user (and tester¦translator etc.) for ages,
in that file manager we can treat the archives as directories.
It's a very useful good feature.

• However, TC is not specially a tree-based FM - though it has tree-views too if needed -.
- So, I'm not sure that such a feature be very handy using a tree like XnView does… Image

• Hence, I could support that proposal, but as optional only…

 Kind regards,
Claude

Yes perhaps a good feature, but not for this release...
Pierre.
