There is no zip file involved, what are you talking about?
And no I wont be minimizing number of files in a directory just to cater to really poor choices by xnview

I updated my xnview after many years. now it insists on autoloading new files that show up in a directory and show those instead of the one I selected for viewing. I can't seem to find a way to turn that off. Is there are way?
And if there isn't a way could you ffs change that. what failure in ...

I've installed it, I've set the file associations in xnview, I've even set file associations for jpg in total commander but each time I click on a jpg in total commander the damn windows photoviewer comes up. photoviewer itself even says xnview is associated with this file. I can even choose to ...
