Solved, the only problem I had was to find an image that would allow to unfreeze the option in the View menu. There should be an option under option to disable thumbnails alpha though. Would be helpfull, hope you include it in future versions.

Thank you but in my XNview under the " v iew" menu there's not that option: "use transparent index"

"Use transparent index" option missing
I need thumbnails in browser not to use the alpha channel. I turn on: "ignore Alpha channel" in ""options>General>Operations"" but it only fixes the viewer window.
Also I've read that there's an "use transparent index" option under ""options>View>View"" but it DOES NOT appear in my options window ...
