This is inconsistency in comparison to the regular resize dialogue. Essentially adding resize as an action of batch convert does not dynamically calculate the other dimension size when changing the other.

I have an image of 2786 x 814963 pixels. I am trying to reduce it to 720 x auto calculated value through keeping aspect ratio. The UI though seems to not allow any value above 99999, even aspect ratio calculated value get stuck at 99999 pixels height.

With the latest update XnviewMP has introduced a delay after second file (and any later) is deleted consecutively in the image viewer. It seems as if it is waiting for something.

The delay spans at least 2-3 seconds and is consistent in duration for all subsequent deletes. Only the first delete is ...

I know it maybe a large architectural change but saving images blocks the UI, which is not as per current behavioral norms. Like if I am working with PNGs any small changes to the image takes 3-5 seconds and within this time I can't do anything.

Perhaps these images get into a queue and a progress ...

I am joining comic strips in long format and any PNG exported bigger than 200MB (~300MP) can't be opened in XnviewMP. Though all other programs (Windows Photos, Firefox etc) can open it just fine.

MP just throws that File can't be loaded error.

PNG: Compression Level 9, no filter, keeps nothing ...

In the viewer, Edit > Background color... I think... :D

No that doesn't work for this. In fact no background colour setting works for this. There was a setting for this when I used to do this on a regular basis few years back, but I don't remember anymore.

When one selects an area for crop and uses delete, a colour is pasted on that area, I want to change it. Over the years, I have seen it sometimes be white and sometimes be black. Where can I change it?

Simply, tag options set to clear after an operation, do not clear them.

So i had created these exe files through some function in xnview a while back and now want them extracted, is there a way? The have this red power button icon on black square.

Whenever I do a bulk tag and move, Xnview loses the image but retains the index in the folder. Like if I am on image #1000, move 100, Xnview moves to the image now at #1000 rather than retaining the image and updating to the new index.

This forces me to use the file explorer in conjunction with ...
