it's working fine now. I just hat to disable the "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder" via this tool: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/installed_codec.html

yes you are right this is the Problem. I investigated in the issue and found that the "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder" is used in my system per default. And it supports only a maximum Resolution of 1920 × 1088 pixels. But would it in this case not be possible Xnview don't show the ...

MP4 H264 bigger 1920x1080 crashes Xnview
Dear all,
there is no Problem using XnView to see MP4 Video's with H.264 Codec. Just if they have a bigger resolution than 1920x1080 XnView crashes. Also in the preview screen.
