XnView: MP 1.8.3 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 11 - 64-bit
When saving via the shortcut key "ctrl-s", the tab title doesn't change to the saved filename.
Effect: Title doesn't update
To reproduce:
1. Press print screen to take a snapshot.
2. Open xnview, or have it open.
3. Paste the image via any method ...

Upon examining the files on the linked image site in notepad, I think they are all .png files that have been renamed to .jpg. Since the apng in .png can't be opened it xnviewmp, it follows that renaming the file to .jpg won't help since the file format is still the same.

My theory on the problem is that xnview doesn't support opening animated .jpg or .png files.

I made a copy of the file, put it on my desktop since I don't know where my user home folder is, and I renamed it to test.jpg. The file still won't open.
This should at least eliminate the possibility that there is a special character in the file name and path though.
