I'm using v1.0_64bit on win7x64
After click the rebuild, immediate pass enter will trigger it more easily.

Enter key won't start search
Using 0.99.7 on win7x64
ctrl+f to open the search window
Enter the string that you want to search.
After you typed it then use enter key to start the search
Something like this appeared after the enter key pressed and search won't start

I'm using 0.99.7 on win7x64
1. It need long time run of program. (need to open some picture then let it alone in background)
2. The tabs should as many as when the previous / next button show (In my case I don't open the pics in folderA.)

Ok, IMHO it can be implemented. However I strongly think that your problem comes from the fact that the thumbnails stored in your catalog/DB are way too small compared with the thumbnails which you see on the screen.
Do like this:

The default pre-set quality is too low. (even jpg high quality)
The thumbnails just have many noise dot and artifacts.
What about add a setting that can manual set the compress level? Like q85 q90 ...etc
It's more flexable and better than before.

File date become 1601 year when I cut & paste file :shock:
Just find a new picture that xnview don't have thumbnail cache.
ctrl+x in windows explorer. (don't use ctrl+x in xnview! or it will not be reproduced)
paste file in xnview. Now this file have wrong date.

:-? 1.92 GB of free RAM should be enough for ct001844.jp2 (29'875 × 14'490 × 3 = 1'298'666'250). Can you open the file in other programs?

I'm using v0.83 on win7 x64.
When I first lunch the new downloaded Xnview MP and open a folder which contains a rar file.
This file have many pictures inside. And Xnview MP can show the thumbnail of this rar file. :)
But then I uncheck use Embedded Thumbnail then check it again, click ok.

XNview MP just pop a small window said can't load file :(
