Re: XCF layers not shown correctly
Please find the example attached. The forum would not allow .xcf files so the expected png and the source xcf are in a zip file. Might need to do Crtl-H in XnView on the PNG file. The problem is present in 0.96.4. Let me know if I can help more. Thank you

Re: ESC from fullscreen creates a new window
Hi. The video shows an ora file, which are openraster files, but I see the new window created with png files too. The extra window creation is disorienting at times. It does not happen every time, but enough that I'll have several instances of XnView running after a while. Let me know if there is ...

Is OpenRaster supported by XnView MP?
Are Open Raster (.ora) files supported by XnView MP 0.96.2? The .ora files exported from Gimp only load as a blank page in XnView MP.

ESC from fullscreen creates a new window
With Windows 10 and XnView MP 0.96.2, starting in the thumbnail view, I double click an image to see fullscreen. Then I press Esc to return to the thumbnail view. Sometimes pressing Esc creates a new thumbnail window. The follow video shows this. While I'm showing the problem with a Ora file, which ...

Quick filter lost after moving a file
If a quick filter is enabled, only the filtered items are shown when viewing fullscreen. But when the first image is moved (Alt-M) the quick filter is lost and all the images are seen while browsing fullscreen. Returning the the thumbnail view shows the text in the quick filter, but the the quick ...

Re: XnView MP: Moving images while in fullscreen mode does not advance as expected
Oops, the problem still exists. Here is a video showing the oddity after Alt-M is pressed. Perhaps the previous image is shown and then advanced? Regardless, the behavior is disorienting. (Related to moves, often the image counts in the folder don't update properly when moving files.) Thank you ...

When performing a quick search, the images shown filters but the number of objects shown in the lower left does not update until clicking on an image.

Re: XnView MP: Moving images while in fullscreen mode does not advance as expected
Thank you for checking. This seems solved. I updated to 0.96.2 recently and can no longer reproduce my original problem, which is excellent! (I do have the 'Read one image ahead' and 'Keep current image' options enabled.) Two licenses purchased. If interested, I use XnView to review images, at a ...

Re: XnView MP: Moving images while in fullscreen mode does not advance as expected
Yes, every time, except when the selected image is the first or the last. The problem is seen in fullscreen mode and not in thumbnail mode. The images are 8000x6000, 33MB PNGs served over CIFS and the thumbnails are 800x800 WEBPs. Please let me know if more information would be helpful.

XnView MP: Moving images while in fullscreen mode does not advance as expected
On a Windows 10 system, using XnView MP 0.96.1, while in fullscreen mode (F11) in a directory filled with lots of large images, after moving an image (alt-M), the next image appears and then immediately another. With large images, where there is some latency, the settling time required after a move ...
