Re: 1.8.8 macOS: User-defined command in the toolbar does not work

Whether with or without a selected image, the app entered is not opened. It doesn't matter which app it is, none of them open. I have tried various image editors such as Acorn, the Affinity apps, but also others such as Forklift or FlowVision.

1.8.8 macOS: User-defined command in the toolbar does not work

On Windows, you can use “customize toolbar” via --COMMAND-- to insert a program in the toolbar that opens the selection with the entered command or program. Without a selection, the program opens anyway. Although the logic is also included in the macOS version, nothing happens when you click on the ...

Viewer and fullscreen scrolls two images

XnView MP 1.7.0
macOS Sonoma 14.3.1

I have a strange scrolling problem under macOS. I use a Logitech MX Master 3S and when scrolling with the mouse wheel, XnView MP always scrolls two images forward in full screen and in the viewer.

The effect only occurs if the "Smooth scrolling" option is ...

Re: macOS Preferences/Quit greyed out

Yes, this occurs after switching to view mode and back to browser mode and/or opening the settings and closing the dialog via OK or the x at the top left.

But it usually occurs in browser mode.

I use macOS Sonoma (14.1.1 (23B81)) on an M1 Air MacBook, but the problem also occurred on older macOS ...

Re: macOS Preferences/Quit greyed out

I would like to take this up again, I also noticed this problem under version 1.6.2. The menu items can be selected after switching to viewer mode, but are sometimes grayed out again when switching to browser mode or closing the settings dialog. I have not been able to find out what grays out the ...

Yes, and when I switch between the two toolbars, the entries for the viewer toolbar also change again. Here is a short video to illustrate the problem: https://youtu.be/Z3_i95xyZGo

1.6.2 Toolbars cannot be configured correctly (macOS)

I have a strange problem with version 1.6.2 64-bit under macOS and the toolbars. I have changed the toolbar in viewer mode in an earlier version (red box in the attached picture). If I want to change the toolbar in version 1.6.2, the icons of the browser mode are displayed in the selection (green ...
