Hi again!
Tried a debug=2
And got logs for it.
It actually started after a long while this time when UNC was present.
So got logs, can I attach here or should I make them available in some other way?

Hide parent folder tile/icon?
Hi!
The parent folder tile is a bit redundant, as the function is available in the toolbar, and I would like to remove or hide it. Possible? Brgs!

Re: Just me? Or are folders no longer sorted as before? [SOLVED, settings]
AWESOME :D! Thank you!
I smiled when I found this setting. I've been using XnView MP for years, and folders have always been possible to sort (as I like it) by date. All of a sudden, it didn't do that anymore, so I presumed it was due to some recent change. Looking back through change logs and the ...

Just me? Or are folders no longer sorted as before? [Solved]
Hi!
When I change descending / ascending for example for modified date. The files changes order but the folders don't.
Is this "by design" in the latest version or is it my install acting up?
Sorting on Name works.

Re: 1.7.2 ghostscript registry path 10.00.0 GS_LIB GS_DLL
I figured that out the first time I encountered the issue. After monitoring, I saw that it was looking for the registry keys. I then created the key and subkeys.
regedit 2025-02-14 152836 1129 x 133.png
However, this isn't an XnView problem; it's more related to PDF24 with its bundled Ghostscript ...

Hi!
I miss interpreted your question, edited this post.
Do you mean what this key was before?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GPL Ghostscript\10.04.0
It wasn't there at all. I created it and it's content, it solved PDF-preview and viewing.

Update. View and PDF-preview, It stopped working again :D
Now on the latest XnView 1.8.5 and an updated Ghostscript 10.04.0
But, as said before. This could also be my specific scenario with a Ghostscript installed by PDF24. But wanted to share if someone experience the same behavior.

Re: Folder address row to sync and open/show the corresponding folder?
Hi,
Added the options in expandUNC=true in the [%General] section.
Is this option suppose to work when browsing within XnView, that it syncs image path in the folder view?
Going from Explorer, opening a file from a UNC-path, and then clicking on the Browse button makes XnView "hang" for a moment ...

Re: Import and sort do an "if" on EXIF-data not available?
Hi,
Yeah, as an option to escape and pick the create or last modified date would be usefull if the exif info isn't there. I've got an cmd where I run exiftool now, it first picks and moves all images which it find exif date and then in a second run through the same source it grabs what's left and ...

Import and sort do an "if" on EXIF-data not available?
Hi,
Just found this function Import and Sort. Awesome!
I've used a self fabricated script with EXIFTOOL before to sort images, but this looks like XnViewMP can perform the task.
In the script I've made it "escaped" when not finding EXIT-date and uses the file create date instead and continue with ...

Folder address row to sync and open/show the corresponding folder?
Hi,
I may be imagine it, but I believe this was the case in some earlier version? Not? :D
So question is like the title, is it possible for the browser to expand into the folder currently in the address field?
