strange i'm not able to reproduce...


I only able to get this bug in the middle of workflow, don't know exactly how it happens, but once hotkey stops working only way to make it work again is either close external program that was triggered by hotkey e.g. Photoshop or use right click menu to run ...

1. DNG image with portrait orientation shows fine in full screen view and thumbnail
2. DNG is cropped from vertical to become horizontal image
3. DNG shows rotated 90° in both preview and thumbnail.

Same cropped DNG shows with proper horizontal orientation in other image viewers so must be bug in ...

Please consider this feature it really a game changer no other viewer has it.

and that A7Info utility does not support opening individual files with it, its not possible to assign it to Open With menu.

Also that utility it does not support DNG files at all, and i convert all my raws to DNG.

Yes, but not sure if going back and forth just one file or several files is required.

Sometimes however even going to thumbnails then full screen and rotating several files back does not update view.

I still can't find a way to reproduce this, but i get this bug too often.

Only reliable fix is to right click and select Open With > Photoshop (Alt+1) then it always opens and after that Alt+1 starts to work again.

Please inspect code for some reason Alt+1 stops working after window re-focused or ...

1. Open DNG image in full screen
2. Then open with Photoshop using Open With menu and edit then save and close
provided embed full size preview enabled in Adobe Camera Raw it will update embedded preview inside DNG file
3. Go back to to thumbnail view
4. Open DNG full screen again

I noticed XnView MP now started to rotate based on DNG orientation tag (or based on XMP) does it also support Adobe DNG Converter's option called Embed Fast Load Data?

When using & sign in Open With command inside Name field it does not display.

Settings > View > Info overlay {EXIF:ISO Value} max value is limited to 65,535
If image ISO is 512,000 XnViewMP still shows 65,535

Pinpointed the problem its because when opening 007.ARW with Open With (Alt+1) and save changes then inside 007.XMP it adds line
photoshop:SidecarForExtension="ARW "
space after "ARW ", this is reason it never being auto loaded from Photoshop Photoshop > File > Open

This is placeholder for bug because i don't know yet how t re-produce it every time, but i had it happen to me multiple times randomly when i click Alt+1 nothing happens when this action is assigned to open with Photoshop.

Basically when i have image open full screen view and then click Alt+1 ...

Still facing lots of issues and confusion with how XnViewMP handles sidecars.

When i assign Photoshop to Open With (Alt+1) menu and start it with on 007.ARW then it creates sidecar 007.XMP .

Could you make XnViewMP to go in crop mode independent from other settings so it does either use existing selection box or if there's no selection box it make one 100%x100% over existing image and let you resize it. sort of how photoshop works.

Could you add over/under exposed area overlay or like zebra in camera.

If not possible for JPG please add to RAW images.
