Rating 2 - Label Yellow/Orange (2nd Colour)

I am using ACDSee Photo Professional which saves ratings, labels into the jpeg file. XnView on PC can recognise them but not the Mac Version.

I can exchange files between ACDsee Mac/PC and both recognise labels, ratings.

How about implementing a filter for :
- protecting Images so that face cannot be detected easily:

maybe not a bug but odd behaviour:

As a default XnView opens with the last used folder. Practical solution.

But if that folder doesn't exist anymore it will open the program folder. Unpractical as unlikely anyone is checking for pictures in that folder.

Suggestion: Default to the pictures folder ...

It is impossible for me to use a VAT number with them as their "validation system" is constantly down. their support is pathetic. First person to contact is the one implementing it. They know the product better. It could just be a configuration problem. Also they might listen to customers and not users. Again, how should I know? And I am not registered with them in any way. I get your point that they might be useless and ...

- The alternative option is not obvious and hidden behind an icon which assumes it is "settings".
- maybe replace the function and make it google instead
- same argument could tell anyone with bugs in XnView to just go with "an alternative".

I gave my experience and opinion. If it is fixable ...

The search function above the posts does this.
Advanced Search offers two options: Google Search and Search Query with more options shown.
Google doesn't have such flaws.

So yes: normal search and the Search Query in Advanced search, NOT google search is ...

I use Batch Convert a lot for rendering Images for online usage. And I use several profiles:

I have a high resolution image of like 5400x5400 pixels and I resize it to 200x200:

I also tried other resizing Methods like Lancoz2 to no avail.

Direct Screenshot result looks jagged on100% display on a 4K Display. In XnView it actually looks smaller. Same ...

I hadn't found that post. Was looking for rectangle, box, trail, etc.

But I can confirm, I have it on windows 10, latest updates, RTX 3080 graphics card with latest drivers.
