And oddly enough, even though there are no Rating entries in the Filter by menu, there is a Rating & Colour label entry with the menu, complete with ratings. They work fine for setting the rating. There is just no way to filter by Rating.

For some reason, I cannot filter by Rating in View > Filter by on my laptop. This is the function that makes XnView so critical for me - I can quickly and easily run through JPEGs, tag the ones I like an the ones I want to delete with a 5 or 1 star rating, and then filter by those ratings to process ...
