XnView Software

XnView: MP 1.9.2 - 64-bit
OS: MacOS Sonoma 14.7.5 - 64-bit

XnView shows blank Map (all white) for Images containing GPS data. Open "GPS Location in > Google Maps" shows location correctly.

Effect: Visual Glitch > Map Module blank

To reproduce:
1. Select image with GPS Data.
2. Open "Info Panel ...

One addition for XnView 1.9.2 Mac Sonoma:

The export dialog doesn't even show AVIF as tab, although selected in the settings Formats menu.
Other selected formats show up correctly.

Regarding adding on map:

This is one thing I love about Lightroom since I'm a travel and street photographer. Lightroom handles it this way:
1) For images without GPS Data, you can to search for a location in the map module and then right-click on a spot to add.

Oh and another UI issue for the preset list:
Would it be possible to hide the file extension (.xbs) in the list?
I've tried to hide and remove in my MacOS Finder, but it doesn't carry over into XN.
It's distracting and makes the list more messy than necessary.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.6.3 . Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

on XnView MP 1.9.2 and XnConvert 1.105 on MacOS 14.7.5, the problem still exists.
My Presets are alphabetically ordered, so that I can quickly select them.

Dear Pierre, thanks for taking care of this issue, but I'm not able to test it on XnViewMP, beause I simply can't find the option to export as AVIF.
I also selected AVIF in the Settings > Formats, but on export view its always a standard format selection. Please advice.

I run into following problem when I try to save as AVIF: "not a picture"
No file is created
