Re: Can't move or copy folder

Just bumping this thread as I think this would be a good feature.

I don't see why an undo is needed, at least in Windows.
As described above, already you can move a folder in XnView by dragging it from the files list (thumbnails) to the folder treeview and there is no undo feature.
There is ...

Pierre,
Did you notice the bugs on the previous page?
I'm afraid that you may have missed it because you didn't respond.
These are real coding bugs with your up-down controls, not just GUI suggestions.
Should I put report them as bugs in the appropriate section?

I agree with the above comments ...

Yes troken,
you would need a diferent DPI for width and height.
Too complicated for my little brain.

John,
Interesting idea, but 'keep ratio' applies to both screen size and print size and so I think it should be global.
How are you creating your dialogs?

Pierre,
Now I understand what you were trying to do with 'Keep Document Size'.
I agree with Troken that disabling the height, width and unit editboxes in the 'Print Size' Group Box is a good idea and would let the user know what is happening.

Yes please, change the default action to initialize the ...

Hmm, I thought the Keep Document size was to keep the current pixel size even when processing new documents.
At any rate, I find it extremely odd that the default is to 'remember' the previous settings when processing new documents, and the only way to get the size of a new document is to click the ...

XP Pro SP2
XnView v. 1.93.4

XnView closes down properly on my system.
Also, I installed over an old version, but my registry entry is correct.
Even if it wasn't correct, I can't see any way it could effect the process closing down.

OK Troken and JohnFredC,
Do you think it's working as you expected?
By the way, clicking the 100% in the comboBox is like a reset button.

Thanks Pierre, that bug made XnView pretty much unusable.

XP Professional SP2
version 1.93.4

Pierre,
I created a thread saying this was a bug, but you though it was working OK.
I still think it isn't workng, so I am writing it here because it was first suggested here, and if I am wrong, I can be shot down in flames.

After resizing an image, the next ...

1.93.3: Image/Resize Dialog still broken

XP Professional SP2
XnView v 1.93.3

I'm afraid that the resize dialog is still a problem.
The only difference between the old and new version seems to be that the clicking 100% now restores the bitmap's original size, but the 'Keep Document Size' checkbox doesn't do anything.
Try: Resize an image ...

Pierre,

I just found this bug today and found this thread while searching.

If you haven't already done it, this should be relatively easy to fix.
The only values that need to be preserved are scalars for both x and y and also the DPI if users also want that.
(I say different values for x and y ...
