I just copied two of the backup-files in Photoshop and saved them. As soon as I save them, the IPTC-data is gone; Should perhaps ask this in a Photoshop-Forum;

Hi there,

1. had completed IPTC data of 800 pictures in XNVIEW

2. had opend half of them in Photoshop 7, made some corrections, closed

3. all IPTC data was gone.

does anyone know how that can be?

luckily had made a backup, but nasty nontheless

ok it was my fault - didn't know one has to choose files first, but thought one could just proceed through the pictures in a folder without choosing;

well the dialog is showing up and working properly, only the arrows to previous and next images are in slight grey, deactivated.

In my IPTC-box there are a left- and a right-arrow below the thumb, but they are somewhat deactivated, not usable.

Version is 1.95.4

Any idea I'd be grateful
