Adding Text in only one color

I was using XNVIEW on an old computer that operated Win95. Anyway I finally got a new computer and it is Windows Vista SP1. I downloaded the newest version of XNVIEW (1.93.6)

OK I finally found the answer in another thread, 1.9 isn't compatible with Win95. Anyone have a cheap version of Win 98 they want to sell me...

LOL

Anyway does anyone know of a site where I can reload the 1.8 version I had installed. XNview worked great with Win95 on that version

Loader Error on Windows 95

I installed 1.916 on my old computer and when I try to run it I get the following error

LOADER ERROR

This procedure entry point SHGetPathFromIDListW Could not be located in the dynamic link library Shell32.dll

Wondering if anyone can help me on this

When I first downloaded the new version of XNView, I saw it had an icon called

Adjust Brightness, Contrast, Gamma, Balance.

This was perfect.

Most of my pics were a little dark. I would just open the pic, and hit the icon and the pics were perfect ...
