jpeg files
I created one empty folder, put one jpeg file in it, and browsed with xnview and crashed
I also have other folders with psd files in them, but I didn't even try viewing them.
I can no longer reproduce the problem after I played with the options and removed the cache.

I also get crash after I updated to 1.97.7 while xnview is displaying thumbnails.
It does not crash in all folders. But if I find a folder that crashes it, then it always crash while viewing that folder.
Makes no difference whether I start it directly or start it from windows explorer.

Try this. Right click XnView shortcut or executable and select "Run as administrator" from the menu. Then enable the "browse with" context menu from the settings and close XnView. This way the context menu shoud stick.

I have some photos that's been rotated a few times using various viewers. The last time was rotated with xnview.
They look correct in xnview and also in windows explorer icon view, but when sync into an ipod touch, the orientation is wrong (off by 90 degree). What is going on and how can this be ...

can't add "browse with xnview" to context menu
there's an option to add "browse with xnview" to windows explorer. I check that box, then I right click on a folder in windows explorer. No "browse with xnview" is found.
If I exit xnview and run it again, the "browse with xnview" is unchecked.
The "send to xnview" option works though.
