If I remember right, there was an option to disable "The file <E:\_\1.png> already exists ! Do you want to overwrite it ?" after changings on the current file. (Ctrl-S just saves, since overwriting the old version is quite normal.).
... but after half an hour searching the options I give up ...

Hello
I had to test XnView, vBulletin and my wiki... So I created a page with an overview of all XnView-Webtemplates, each including all vBulletin-Styles from 2 Sources. Text in German, Screenshots in English ;): XnView Webtemplates
(Visuddhi Lightbox does not load FullRes-Pictures, Visuddhi ...

I posted a similar Idea under "Suggestions": Ctrl-Mousewhele to change Thumbnail Size
A simple pre-solution: Copy the Pulldown-Menu "View > Thumbnail Size" as Button next to "View as" above the Thumbnails.

a) Simply take the next preset
b) without steps, gauss-Interpolate the Thumbs and accept the sice after "Enter" or forget it after "Esc"
"a)" would be easy to implement
"b)" is a "nice to have"

Alt-C / Alt-M is very usefull, but when I have to move 100 Files (while viewing 1000) it would be easier withough confirming always the destination.
Solutions
a) A new Menu-Entry "Set Copy/Move-Target" where you can enter these Destinations or select "[o] Ask every Time" (Option)
