I just checked the picture with IrfanView,
DPI says 72dpi BUT the EXIF info says the DPI is 71dpi which is where the problem is!!!!

Steps:
1. Load a 800x600 image (any image maybe) into XnView View mode
2. Choose Resize -> Standard Size -> 1600x1200
3. Change the DPI by going up by 1,2 or 3 (73,74 or 75dpi)
4. Change the DPI back to 72dpi
5. Screen Size now says "1599x1200" it should be "1600x1200"

XnView v1.74 Resize DPI Bug

Steps:

I think the High quality Zooming is a different problem: When using High quality zoom, zooming your image (~1500x1500 pixels) takes about 8 seconds at 400 % on my computer and gets even worse the more you zoom in.
8 seconds on your P4 when having high zoom quality????

Ok, I made a mistake on that one.
I'm sorry! Theres no mention of XnView Deluxe on XnView's website at all which is why I thought it was done done by a different author or company.

They have a comparison table for XnView Deluxe however, XnView Freeware isn't compared which leads me to believe XnView Deluxe isn't worth paying for but hey thats their loss :) Pierre and Helmut are more fun to play with too :)

It's NOT the MOV file that is slow loading, it is THE image file shown in the MOV clip that is slow loading.

My copy of "\My Data\DeviantART\Fragment_of_Space.jpg" which is 1800x3000 100dpi JPG takes about 3sec to load from Browser to View mode with High Quality Zoom settings enabled.

AMD Athlon XP1700+ is oc'd to 1.83Ghz (XP2200+)

In View options, Disable all "High zoom quality (slower)" options
and "Cache" options and please report back with your findings.
