Re: RC1: batch rename bug.
I've posted it before ( http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=8446 ), and it doesn't seem to be fixed. But has been fixed in Beta 1. What is not fixed? 1. Since I choose "Always", it should add suffix to every file, even if there is only one file. 2. But when there is only one file, it doesn'...

"View files in archive" function isn't good enough
The "browse archive" function isn't good enough. 1. When I view the pictures in archives, I can't navigate the files. That is, I can't go to previous/next file. 2. After I click the "Browser" button, it brings me to "Temp" folder. I think it should bring me back to the archive. Could you try to enha...

If there is only one file selected, the "duplicate" function doesn't work fine.
I enable the "Always" option, but it doesn't add suffix when there is only one file.

Re: Various alpha-related concerns
Really on a new panel? I think that it's not very good to have many panel. But perhaps i am mistaken! And yes currently you can't view picture AND EXIF/IPTC! I don't know which is the best solution... I agree with you. Having many panels would make things complicated. I prefer the current layout, b...

A3: Batch Rename can't work.
Besides this bug, there are some other rename bugs in A3.
- I tried to insert <Accessed>, <Creation>, or <Modified>, they all become 1601-01-01.
- After I setup the Name template (ex: ####) and press the Rename button, an error always occurs. It says :Error renaming file.

A3: Request to add archive to TreeView
Since XnView can read archive files, we can see archives as folders. (You double click a folder to see the images in the folder, also you double click a archive to see the images in the archive. So they look like the same.) So I think XnView should add archive items to TreeView. How do you guys thin...
