Idea - Mapbrowser / GPS / Area filter mode
Since I got my first GPS I dreamed about simple filtering of geotagged pictures collections by location. But I have found none picture viewer or collection manager with such function.
My idea is as follows:
1. To have map panel.
2. To select an area by mouse.
3. To see only pictures with GPS ...

v0.51 crc32 checksum fail
Hi.
When merging old picture collections I found two different pictures with same crc32 according to XnView:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/30333870/XnMP/crc32_fail.png
Other crc32 tools show more believable values:
[nabuko@nabuko cksum]$ cksum 183-8385_IMG.JPG

Re: XnViewMP v0.39 - Fullscreen overlay info
Thank you:-)
By the way, why do you keep a list of possible tags for overlay info? Wouldn't it be easier even for you to let us, users, select any tag from exif and show it in overlay info by entering correct tag ID?
For example right click on any exif value would show option "Copy tag ID to ...

Re: XnViewMP v0.39 - Fullscreen overlay info
Sure:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30333870/141-4154_IMG.JPG
That tag has been written using IrfanView (tag $E37510). I have over 10 000 pics from that camera and hundreds of them tagged that way.

XnViewMP v0.39 - Fullscreen overlay info
Is there any way to show in overlay info other informations than those listed in: Settings->View->Info->Information Displayed?
For example:
$ exiftool -TAG -UserComment 141-4154_IMG.JPG
User Comment : Forum Romanum
I have tried Tag description, name and ID in decimal and hexadecimal form but ...

Re: Request: Toggle zoom shorcut
Yes, I have. But it doesn't remember the state. When I switch to "100 %", select the detail for comparison and then skip to next image, it's shown again in the "Fit to screen" thus I can compare nothing...
Of course it is possible to have as default setting "show in 100 %" but it is not convenient ...

v0.39 - exif incompatibility
Hi.
XnView cannot handle pictures with metadata in specific format. I suppose it's bug of XnView because digiKam works with same files without problems. So does Exiftool (it only outputs warning: "[minor] Error reading PreviewImage").

Hi.
In IrfanView I like one feature: by pressing "f" the picture toggles between "Fit to screen" <--> "100 %". Irfan remembers this setting when picture is changed.
Comparing similar pictures and choosing the best of them with this feature is very efficient because you can quickly compare both the ...
