Change timestamps for objects of mixed types or source

This is sometime annoying as it drive to loosing the original date . Either the file creation, file modification or existing metadata which was right in the original are changed to the current date & time. This occurs when: 1) The source selected for date & time is from metadata (e.g. Exif date digi...

Well pointed mercader.
It's fine and if someone really want to have the last image paused after a clip, it's always possible to extract this image and include in the show.

It's a transcient issue. 1.96 B1 looks the same, not to say worth because now I see it even in the preview of the browser or in a tab. As said it not systematic, after one or 2 double-click, the clip is shown and th...

Re: Slideshow: Error in reading video clips

You can't play video files in slideshow?? Exactly. they are played, fine in preview/browser, in selecting individual videos it's ok as well but an error is reported in slideshow mode (full screen or normal size) This morning I tried with 2 other machines and the problem is the same. Different h/w, ...

Re: Date/time format in Change timestamp function

Is it possible to include the seconds for the all date/time of the pictures before and after the changes. This is just one topic I wanted to add for months. Obviously I missed it when I proposed this change. lccostajr: Yes this is a great feature of Xnview. As you say, especially for an event where...

Slideshow: Error in reading video clips

Apparently this is new from v1.95 I just upgraded. When a clip is included in a slideshow it generates an error "Unknown format" but nevertheless, the clip is played behind this small window. It happaens onlw in slideshow. If the option "Do no show errors" is checked the clip is not played at all. I...

I like B.Douille's layout. The order of the dates could be more chronological: - File: Date created - File: Date modified - EXIF: Date taken - EXIF: Date digitized - EXIF: Date modified Helmut, yes it would be more logical. Actualy I led "Date created" because it is in the current version but hones...

Improve Change timestamp

May I suggest something like this: http://dbaillard.chez-alice.fr/Storage/Change_Timestamp.jpg - In most case we have to change more than one field. The check box allow all changes in one go - Currently there is a lack in showing the file modification date which has more significance than the file c...

file date for video clips

Hello Pierre, can you have a look at this bug ? It is still there. Short reminder of the problem: For video file, the file dates are wrong (Modified Date, Creation Date, Accessed Date). The dates are mostly in years 1600, at a time where there was no digital pictures  These wrong dates appears...
