Well, complementary of https://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=36950

0.89: Ctrl+Right Click unselects the image

XnView: MP 0.89 64 bit
OS: Windows 64bit

Some of the buggy behaviours of the new Ctrl+Right Click feature...

If you have a selected image and then you Ctrl+Right Click over it, you unselect it and therefore no context menu is shown.

(OTOH if you only Right Click, it isn't unselected and XnView ...

0.87: Renaming a Folder is not possible while XnView is "scanning" it

XnView: MP 0.87 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 - 64bit

Just what the title says.

Effect: Unexpected behaviour.

To reproduce:
1. In the Folder Tree View go to a folder which contains a LOT of images (so it's easily tested, you'll get plenty of time in this case).
2. xnView starts "scanning" its contents ...

Re: 0.85b4: PDF files (and others?) abort Fullscreen

I've noticed a behaviour change in 0.87 beta 3, (I don't know if it was previously present): XnView displays a warning message about Ghostscript not being installed when you Esc from a not supported pdf file.

Nevertheless, I do really think this is a sub-optimal solution. You still get the ...

Re: 0.87 Beta1: Batch renaming is not possible on movies

I suppose, it's expected but Beta 3 has not solved either issue:
  • Batch renaming is not possible on movies. (The first two screenshots of the former post).
  • Renaming is not possible from XnView Video Player. (The last two screenshots of the former post).

Re: 0.85b4: Weird dialogue when renaming Videos in Fullscree

I suppose this is also a variant of the very same issue.

XnView also seems to conflict to itself when trying to batch-rename several videos from Browser. Look at the following screenshots:

Oooops, the problem with batch-rename is alive in 0.87 beta 1, although the very first issue I posted is ...

Re: 0.87 Beta1: Batch renaming is not possible on movies

I'm running 0.87 Beta 2 (I've just updated) on Windows 10 1703 64-bit fully updated.

I still get the error. Look at the very first two screenshots.

More over, the ORIGINAL PARENT BUG is also not solved . I didn't properly test before, sorry. But now I get a different error, and also different ...

0.87 Beta1: Batch renaming is not possible on movies

XnView: MP 0.87 beta 1 /64 bit
OS: Windows 10 - 64bit

Well, the titles says it all.

In fact, I had already posted this issue in this solved bug thread .

I thought it was the very same issue as the parent one. But it seems it's not. 0.87 beta 1 has effectively solved the first issue but not the ...

Sure.

Send the four files (Dropbox links) if you want. Glad to help and there's nothing private in them but my desktop and my children speaking in the back... :D
