Search the forum for "Compare".
Wow! If some of these feature would be implemented, I could uninstall FastStone Viewer!

Pierre, are any of these suggestions in the pipeline?

Great, hopefully you can fix it for the next release.
It's quiet annoying I have to use FastStone Image Viewer to compare similar pictures with different sizes because of this bug.

Thanks for XnView, I use it daily.

Control images individually when comparing (v1.91.4)

When I'm comparing images (<SHIFT>+C tool) the icons above the images (zoom in / zoom out / ...) don't just work on the image I'm clicking them for, but does it to all the images!

Please fix this so the icons only effect the image I clicked the icons for.

Actually, I would like it in the status bar more than anywhere else (I exclusively use the status bar to view the name and size and resolution of pictures).

Please make it an option then! I really love the fact that XnView is caching thumbnails in the background while I'm viewing one (or more) pictures.

GflSdk v2.70 doesn't work

Dear Pierre,

You forgot to update the LibGflE library when creating the GflSdk archive.
LibGflE.lib points to LibGflE269.dll instead of LibGflE270.dll.

Could you please update the GflSdk archive?

[BUG] Access Violation when using gflBrightness

The following routine to change the brightness of a picture worked with v2.54, but gives me an error with v2.67. // This function adjusts the brightness (delta = [-255, 255]) bool CPicture::Adjust_Brightness(int16 i16Delta) { bool bResult = false; try { CHECK_MEM_LEAKS; // Do we have a valid delta? ...

Yes! That fixed it for me!

I would never have guessed they were related!

Thx

1.90 : Blank screen when double clicking pic in Explorer

When you double click a picture in Windows Explorer you get a blank screen instead of a picture.

This is new (RC2 worked correctly).

Re: 1.90 : Blank screen after deleting pic in fullscreen mod

Is it with the final 1.90?? Yes, it is. To reproduce: - Double click a picture in the browser (to go to fullscreen). - Press <DEL> The screen remains blank. PS When pressing <F2> to rename the 'blank screen' it shows the name of the correct (read: next) picture. PPS If I first go to 'Viewer' mode a...

1.90 : Blank screen after deleting pic in fullscreen mode

After you delete a picture in fullscreen mode you get a blank screen instead of the next picture. This is new (didn't happen in RC2).

Can someone supply me a link to the RC2 XnView.exe so I can use that instead?
Thx.

But if you delete a file, i must update the db now, and not at the exit... Ok, but deleting records from a database normally takes hardly any time; the records are only removed from the index (which is fast). Only when you optimize a database the deleted records actually get removed from the databa...

Yes, because delete file doesn't update cache, now there is an update... Ok, i check... Instead of optimizing the database immediately, why not do this upon exiting XnView? I do the same with the applications I develop; upon exiting I destroy the window(s) so the task is gone from the taskbar, and ...

Re: Configure…

1. Why do you start in Full Screen ? Because I want to view the picture! 2. You have to set the displayed items in the Options >> Browser >> File list . I have done that. 3. Also, check the Options page Browser >> Thumb nails , i.e. to display the 4-in-one thumb nails on the folders… I have this op...
