But remember that the current functionality would be lost (change PPI -> resize image, but keep print size). You can't even do that in Photoshop directly IIRC.

Then you probably have, like me, "Use different size/position for browser & view" enabled under INTERFACE -> WINDOWS.

Thank you Danny for adressing this issue again. Yes, some kind of feedback for the user would be nice. It's a must have really, as you'd have to calculate it yourself. I had to deal with it yesterday, and i had to fire up Gimp since XNView didn't get me any further. The only reason to keep the "Set...

The problem lies in maximizing the window. Don't do that, but instead just resize the browser window to fill out the whole screen. That fixed the problem for me.

Yes, this still holds true. The Set DPI dialog is useless currently.

If you don't get any feedback on how the actual print size will turn out, changing the DPI value is pointless.

IMO it can stay in it's own dialog, but there's got to be a feedback on the print size changes.

Nobody knows but Pierre.

It may work by reversing the image list and always skip forward internally, instead of having a fixed image list and skipping back and forth.

But then again... Nobody knows but Pierre.

AFAIK it doesn't even come with video decoders but uses whatever you have installed under Windows (via VfW - NOT DirectShow).

This still doesn't work right as of v1.95.4. Take a video of your choice and set the columns and rows fields to: unequal values and not the same as the video's aspect ratio and chances are high, that there will be missing frames. For example: contact sheet width: 1024 columns: 5 rows: 3 (video aspec...

Then again, you could just tag them and filter for tagged files. Or you could adjust your custom filter to not show .raw files.

How about another custom filter btw.?

Considering your first problem: use sort by extension instead of type.

Thumbnail & Details view

The description (and comment) field in the "Thumbnail & Details" view ought to have automatic word wrapping. Right now it's one huge area with only one line.

I think maximizing is the problem. That's why i don't do it, but instead resize the browser window to fit the whole screen. This way it works as i expect it.

This doesn't make sense to me. You either show them or you don't, and there's already an option that let's you choose.

Yeah, it doesn't really make sense since the program should find out by itself which level to choose for best results.

Just crank it up to max and never look back i'd say.
