Suggestion: precise what tool is indeed used to set the meta data, e.g. GeoSetter is using ExifTool, and thus sometimes slow. So it could be a new column "tagger" in your table, either with "internal" or e.g. "ExifTool".
Another column could be the "mapping" tool, e.g. GoogleMaps ...

Thanks to a couple of threads in this forum, I found some software for geotagging my images. Then with Google I found some more.

Yes i have this problem that once i have entered iptc data with Xnview it does not show in my Photoshop 7.0
Can anyone tell me why and what can i do that it will be shown?

XnView 1.91.2 on Win XP SP2
I think there has been some improvement between 1.91.1 and 1.91.2 with 16-bits per colour images, but there are still some issues.
I checked the same 16-bit file in 3 formats, produced by Photoshop CS: TIFF, PSD, PNG
in the properties tab of the file browser all ...
