Re: Batch Convert and file paths (windows)

Giday mate, Does xnview allow retaining of file paths during convert? I've got a big directory tree structure by category name filled with meaningless image file names. I'd like to be able to convert these files (resize) and have the output in the same directory structure but somewhere else. I can'...

I did, however, just now make a discovery: If I save the file to a folder other than the one from which I opened the original file (that is, folder y rather than folder x) and there is an existing file in that other folder with the same name, I do get a warning. I have to revise that. What's really...

However, even I view the pics in FullScreen, the issue (not reading one image ahead) still exists.

I suggest dialog box with 3 buttons: [Cancel], [Rename] and [Overwrite].

Maybe also: [x] Do not show this dialog next time.
Why, you can't have overwrite in batch rename??

Re: Dithering Algorithms

I am using your GFL SDK 2.4 and like it alot. I was wondering if at some point in the future we could get the Stucki dithering algorithm added to the ChangeColorDepth function, and if we could also get the ability to specify the strength for it and Floyd-Steinberg. There are many times that in my o...

I uninstalled, removed all associated files, cleaned the Windows registry, and reinstalled, but the problem persists. Just to make sure my problem is clearly stated, here's what happens: Say, I open 1a.jpg from folder X, then I crop the image and save it as 1b. If there's already a 1b.jpg in that f...

Re: Cache slows down viewing.

Always the problem in 1.80.3??, you view your picture in fullscreen? After pressing F11 for example? It happens no matter in Fullscreen or in View Screen. But in the "View Screen", I could tell from the "progress bar" and "Press ESC to abort" in the statu bar. Could you tell me if you have the prob...

I am missing something or there is a new limitation to the format?
Byt default the JPEG2000 plugin can't save alpha channel, perhaps it's the plugin from Luratech...
