Oh, I get it. So pictures are not completely loaded when we do a conversion from the thumbnail viewer, it is only when we open and load them in the viewer that the profile can be used. But I still don't get why XV 1.93.6kept the profile for conversion also... ( http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic....

Ooops sorry, I mean the classical windows error message, simply saying "problem" + name and path of file.
Unfortunately can't post a screenshot at the moment.

handle pictures without bug

I get an error message with a big red cross every time I want to move a selected picture to another folder when its preview has not been generated yet. It's the same if for a bunch of selected pictures, if I drag from the image which is not shown in the preview. In both cases you have to wait until ...

1.95: ICC lost/kept

in 1.95b2: export an adobeRGB TIFF to jp2: image displayed properly, color space probably kept. save an adobeRGB TIFF to jp2: image displayed properly, color space probably kept. convert an adobeRGB TIFF to jp2: image displayed falsely (like an adobeRGB interpreted as a sRGB) color space probably lo...

Thanks for the bug resolution in 1.95beta2! What's more, the new codec is superfast! Though, I haven't checked yet if the encoding quality is as good as the old one in 1.93. Should it be the same? What's the difference between the new and old jp2 codec? [EDIT]: Now I've had a look, it seems the qual...

I said that the old version maybe left the color space tag intact, and indeed my old pics converted with 1.93.6 have an embedded adobeRGB tag like the original files, this is recognized by Adobe Photoshop.

OK, I see that in the older as well as in the current version, the color space info is lost in the generated/converted files: this is what you see in the properties panel, color space info absent upon conversion no matter what's the version. However, adobeRGB Tiffs converted to jpegs using XV 1.93.6...

Color space info lost

I've encountered a problem which appears to reveal the current version of XnView does not preserve color space information when converting or exporting photos anymore. I have adobeRGB TIFFs which, converted/exported to TIFFs (using Ctrl+U or Ctrl+Alt+S) or any other format, apparently lose their col...

OK, I get the idea, thank you.
However, after using it a little, I find the way to use it a little unpractical: it is superfluous to ask the user to confirm his choice in the reappearing plugin manager window after having applied the filter to the whole image.

Thank you so much!
I would never have had the idea of installing and opening it as an adobe photoshop plugin, as it isn't, but it works just fine now!

NeatImage plugin not recognized

Hello, It is mentioned that Neat Image (excellent noise reduction software) supports the integration in XnView as a plugin, even the demo version. However, after download of the demo version 5.9 and installation of the NeatImage.8bf plugin in the "Plugin" directory of XnView, I found no trace of the...

Oops sorry for posting email adresses. I want to say this issue is not solved yet, although you said you fixed the bug, in the 1.94.2 version, I still have the same problem. What's more, in the meanwhile I erased the thumbnail cache and as XnView cannot rely anymore on the thumbnails that were gener...
