Re: I can't get color management to work under macOS
Yes, the ICC profile is generated by BenQ's Pallete Master and this is selected in XnViewMP.
It is v4 ICC though?

I can't get color management to work under macOS
I simply can't get color management to work under macOS.
I'm running a wide gammut benq.
It's been calibrated via palette master.
Preview, finder, Affinity photo, lightroom and capture one all display the image the same - only XNViewMP displays it overstatured.

Re: macOS Preferences/Quit greyed out
So far, the easiest way is to let the Mac hibernate, come back and it usually happens. Given a long enough time it usually becomes 100% that the prefs and quit will become greyed out.

Re: Color Management (ICC profile for monitor)
I've noticed under macOS, either with ICC disabled, or ICC monitor selected I get oversaturated images because my monitor is a wide gammut one. I don't have the issue in preview, or affinity photo etc...
Is this bug related and is it fixed in 1.4.1? Or should I open a new bug report?

macOS Preferences/Quit greyed out
After some time (haven't found a way to reproduce) but the options for Preferences and Quit becomes greyed out for XnViewMP 1.4.0.
The only way to quit the program is to command + q.

Re: MacOS: Theme issues
Nope, if there would be someway to lose the "default" theme and then for xnview to chose the light theme when OS is light, and dark theme when OS is dark it would be perfect.

Re: MacOS: Theme issues
Ah, you have the grey "card" background enabled.
If that is not being used;
macOS with light theme - works (text is black)
macOS with dark theme - works (text is white)
macOS with default theme (text is always black)

Re: macOS : Mouse-Wheel does not work as expected
Yes, you will also need to find an option buried away in xnviewmp
It's really difficult to find settings, I spent 10 minutes and couldn't find it. But there's options like "view scroll content by thumbnail" tickboxe. Make sure to turn it off.
It will work. On an M1 MacBook here.

I found this too
As a workaround I recommend MOS app.
You can set an override for XNViewMP. I have it buttery smooth scrolling now

macOS with default theme - doesn't work when OS is in dark mode.
Hope that helps

Re: MacOS: Theme issues
Ok, here it is attached.
I think I had to turn off file format colors,
But yes, with the default theme during dark mode in the os, the filename text stays black
