1.82: cache files not used anymore?
hi guys,
i recognize, that after installing the XnView-win-full.exe (praised in the newsletteremail), over my old installation, all the cachefiles were still on the disk, but arent used by xnview.
it seems, the cache.db was newly created, but not updated....
or is this a normal behavior? IF, then ...

i don't see any way to do that.

Re: resample dialog (advanced options, batch convert)
so it might be useful, to either:
name the filters like: bilinear (best), hermite (middle), lanczos (normal), etc...
or: bilinear (quality 10), hermite (quality 5), lanczos (quality 1), etc...
It's not so simple, a filter can be better than one other on a picture, and not for another picture ...

resample dialog (advanced options, batch convert)
hi all,
there a lot of resample filters, which the user can choose from. unfortunately the names are not plausible, nor recognizable by the user. maybe in the help the user can read which filters are the best, and why and for what case, but not in the pulldown menu, which is, IMHO, very important ...

i.e.
options->view->quick slide show->delay(ms)
pulldown-menu entries: [ms,sec,min,hours]
i.e.
options->browser->thumbnail->no thumbnails for files ...

i always rename my files in FS, because renaming files in browser mode is very crappy.
i.e.
-renaming of very long filenames...
Does it work or is there a bug?
don't know, if there is already a bug open for that, but if you play around some time with renaming in browsermode, you find a lot ...
