XnConvert won't launch on my Windows 10 PC
Hello all...
I'm having an issue that I never had previously. I'm running a 64 Bit Windows 10 PC (21H1). I have all of the Xn software to include XnView, XnView MP, XnResize, and XnConvert. Recently I had to reload Windows 10 due to system problems and I had to reinstall all of my software products from scratch all over again..
The issue I'm experiencing now is that when I click on the XnConvert icon, it seems like it wants to launch (you can hear movement on the SDD), but it fails to launch. I then went into my C folder that XnConvert is located, and used the "launch as administrator" and it still won't come up. The other Xn products launch just fine. I did a Control/Alt/Delete to bring up the task manager to see if it's running in the background - but it isn't? I then uninstalled and reinstalled XnConvert - all to no avail. I don't get it.
What could be the issue here and what should I look for?
Thanks,
Ben Herrmann

No, where do I find the XnConvert.ini - what folder? I'll try that once I know exactly where it is.

No problem with XnView MP 0.99.1?
and XnConvert 1.92?
and XnConvert 1.92?

I did not have any problems with previous versions of XnConvert - but I don't have those setup files anymore - just the new version.

Re: XnConvert won't launch on my Windows 10 PC
Thanks - I just downloaded the previous version 1920 of XnConvert and it works just fine. I do not understand why the new version 1924 would not launch at all.

Yes, both versions were the 64 bit versions. So I just can't figure out why the newest release would not launch.

Have you tried launching xnconvert.exe with elevated rights (i.e. as administrator)?benherrmann wrote: ↑Sat Oct 09, 2021 1:28 amYes, both versions were the 64 bit versions. So I just can't figure out why the newest release would not launch.
