Some suggestion for MP

Post by BK201 »

0. More customizable hotkey setting. Examples: Quit with Esc or alt-F4 is not changeable; "/" for image auto resize is not changeable, etc.
1. More customizable panel. Examples: Quick toolbar at the top of browser is not removable; Sub panels in information panel cannot be dragged out, etc.

bug report:
0. Cannot change back to default theme after select any of other themes.
1. Sometimes cannot remember the window size when closed.
2. GIF images frames looks weird if you watch step by step.

Hi,

Yes these aspects should be customizable. I myself would like to configure "Esc" hotkey so that it does NOT close a view tab.

Hmm... Do you mean to have a toolbar right-click option, such as "Hide this toolbar" ? :P

Well the Information window itself is drag-able (as you might already know) however since the 'sub panels' you refer to are presented as tabs (e.g. properties, histogram etc) then it is going to be less imaginable having these as separate drag-able panels since all the "Information" window items have to be kept together uniformed. Might require a massive code rewrite by the developer if this was ever to happen. Sorry I don't support.

0. Yes this is possible, just press "Default" and then restart XnView MP to see the change; http://i.imgur.com/OatRw.png
1. Window size always gets remembered :)
2. You could post an example GIF image here in this topic for us to see your issue.

How it looks like in steps:

Seems that MP only display the *changes* between two frame

1. Window size always gets remembered
No, it won't if you using edge maximize in win7 (a aero feature)
Fixed in 0.48

Doesn't care that anymore, I've enjoyed the new theme.

Sub panel *preview* can be dragged out and put anywhere else, while the other two *info* and *folders* can not.

I can not remove this.
