When you right-click a thumb in the browser, you get "Stop.........ESC" in the context menu. Stop does nothing and ESC closes XnView ie same as File>Exit. I'd suggest, either remove this entry from the menu, or rename it to "Exit" (and make it actually exit the program) for consistency with File>Exit

When xnview create thumbnail, ESC can stop it
Good to know. Still the question whether it's worth while having an entry in the context menu for this. Personally, I never use Esc for stopping thumbnail creation, since it might close the browser if I press it too late. Also, I would rather press Esc than opening a context menu and select a menu item at the bottom.
i think there's another topic for exit in context menu
ok close isn't useless for it actually stops thumbnail creation. If Pierre thinks it's not useful to have a context menu entry for this and ESC is enough, he'll remove it. marking fixed.
