Sort by ratio doesn't work

Hi,

as reported by someone else at http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=19519, sort by ratio (and folder) does not work. You answered that you can't reproduce it, so it's specific to some configurations/installations.

Let me know if I can help to reproduce.

I'm using XnView Portable from portableapps.com, version 1.98.5, but I tried with 1.98.2 and still no luck. OS is Windows 7 32bit Italian.

I want to sort to separate some images between vertical and horizontal.

I'm having the same problem.
Running XnView version 1.99 English on 64-bit Windows 7.

What I'm experiencing:

Selecting View -> Sort By -> Ratio
The sorting in the browser window does not change, nor does the active "Sort By" item in the menu.

This still seems to apply to the "Folder" sort as well, but that's a different topic.

Ok, there is a problem with Menu>Sort by - Ratio, use mini toolbar to change sorting...
