Shortcut for jpeg images

Post by josedumoretzsohn »

How can I create in XNview, if at all, a shortcut (.lnk) to (for instance) a .jpg image, so I can send it as a .lnk file to another folder? If this is not possible at all, I leave this as a suggestion. Thanks for any guidance.

You can access the shell context menu (and the Create Shortcut command) from within XnView's thumbnail panel by right-clicking on a file while holding down the Ctrl key.

Make sure that Show thumbnail for file shortcut (Tools » Options... » Browser » Thumbnails » Appearance) is activated.

Thank you, very much. I proceeded as you instructed, and there were both the 'create shortcut' command and the dully created shortcuts.
