[linux] some bugs

Post by OMOIKANE »

1. Program exits sometimes when adding bookmark or using copy to/move to feature.
2. Very BAD bug: open image blabla.blabla.jpg - save as - choose dir - ok. Image will be saved as blabla.jpg
Open another image - blabla.aaaaaaaa.jpg - save as - choose the same as previous dir - ok. Image will be saved as blabla.jpg WITHOUT overwrite warning!

I like xnview but this bugs make it unusable for now, i am using geeqie+gimp for editing.
Debian Stable.

About #2: It's not a bug here ... you have to check into Settings\General\File operations\"Confirm to save changes to file" to prevent this "dangerous" behavior.

Do you reproduce it?

Same here on Windows XP as well as Windows 7 (x64). Maybe it would be better to store bookmark information in the sqlite db ?
