Hello,
As we can show directories in a sidebar (favorites or directories) I would like the ability to move by dragging and dropping files directly into the directories. I've tested ExifPro and it's possible with this software.

That is really nice. From where to download the software?
One of the most heated areas of debate in the current scenario is software patent. It is the most petentable matter in the US. Read more about it

It's a shareware (? not sure about it): http://www.exifpro.com/ -and thumbnails are much clearer than XnViewMP. If you consider only browsing and basic manipulations, it's a very interesting alternative.

You can test ExifPro and you can compare. I tried all thumbnails options in XnViewMP and did not get the same quality.
Something I like very much in ExifPro is the density of thumbnails. Names are shorten and I like it as I rarely need instantly the full name of a file. So there are more thumbnails on one line.

Re: drag and drop move or copy files
Did you test it or did you just took a look at my screenshot ? Well, I suppose it can be the "excitement of the new software". If someone has some time to take a look and give his advice here

Yes, about the rendering of the images. There is an option where you can choose the sharpen of the thumbnails.

I've got -in french- "utiliser des miniatures de très grande qualité" et "augmenter le détail des vignettes"- but nothing to choose how sharpen they can be.
