Option to Suppress "Save Changed File" Messages!

Post by viking »

I often manipulate images in Full-screen View mode (F11; and then rotate image using Shift-L). Thereafter, I want to continue to the next file but without keeping the manipulation (rotation). However, when I try to advance to the next file, I get a message "Do you want to save changes to *.jpg? Save/No/Cancel".

I don't want to save the manipulated file, and I also don't want to keep getting this message. Is there any way to suppress it as in classic xnview? (e.g. an Option in the Settings please)?

I eagerly installed v0.64 hoping that this option had been added, but unfortunately not :( .

(p.s. This issue was discussed in the past, never resolved and the thread steered towards another subject: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=28403)

Just disable the option "Confirm to save changes to file" found in Settings>general>file operations

This option has existed for many version now.

Or do you expect XnViewMP to dump all your unsaved changes into system memory??

Thanks :D !
I didn't realize that this option would do what I wanted. I guess that when I saw it a long time ago, I assumed that it would save w/o confirming. This is also what others had stated in the previous thread: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.p ... 03#p112994. However, It simply doesn't save at all when unchecked.
