Does FTP works ?

Post by lian »

I made a test with sending FTP in Ctrl+U module but it does not work - says it's impossible to connect to FTP domain. I have no problem with WinSCP.

OK it works when creating a dedicated user and directory. But if I use main name and password, it won't work.

The "main" user is the FTP login and password given by the webhoster - it gives access to all the server. The "user" account is an FTP account created with access to only one directory. It works with "user" account but not the main account. I suppose these are not the official terminology but I don't know the real name :-)
