I just updated to XnView Classic 2.22 standard. In browser mode XnView crashes when I select a jpg-file that has been saved by GIMP with XMP data. In V2.04 and 1.97 and XnView MP 0.56 these files cause no Problems.
This is how I can repoduce the error:
I open with Gimp 2.8.8 a picture made by a digicam (Nikon D5200 Canon A720 tested) that contains IPTC, EXIF and GPS. I select export with standard settings (Keep Exif, 4:4:4 Quality, with XMP data). This new picture causes a crash.
Example (9,21 KB): http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/kgg9-x-182b.jpg
There is no error If I deselect in GIMP save XMP data. This seems to be the problem.
Example (5,65 KB): http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/kgg9-y-e369.jpg
I hope this description and examples help to solve the problem.
Greetings,
Anika
