Crop on a slant

Post by Hans L »

Hello:

Can you crop an image with the rectangle on a slant? (I have an image that is slanted, and if I could crop it on a slant, the image would look non-slanted :-)

Thanks,

Not directly AFAIK, but you could possibly achieve a similar effect by rotating the image before cropping it?

And, if necessary, rotating it again after cropping??

Yes, cday, but how do you rotate a few degrees?

In XnView Classic: Image > Rotate > Custom...

check 'Apply to image', then use the rotate slider and/or the increase/decrease buttons patiently until you obtain the rotation you need...
