Request: Picture 1 of 500 information displayed

Post by Alexview »

I would like to see the current picture number and the total number of pictures (folder or all files recursive, dependent on thumbnails selection before) in fullscreen.

This are then 2 extra variables you can select in:
settings - view - info

So you can make something like:
Picture {number} / {total number}
resulting in:
Picture 1 / 500

Is this simple possible? Maybe there are more variations by other users also wanted?

WKR,
Alex

I have the following info box:

{File Index} - {Filename}
{Format} - {Size KB} KB - {Width}x{Height}
({Zoom}%) - ({Tag status}) ({Rating}) ({Color label})

...which I think that's the default.

The first one - {File Index} - shows exactly this: 100/500 for the 100th picture out of 500.

You have the {File Index} entry in Tools > Settings... > View -- Info ?

Thanks! That's what I was looking for.

But when you use Insert >> then I don't see this as an option. Are there maybe more unlisted functions?

'File Index' does seem to be missing from the Insert options...

All the other default 'Information displayed' parameters in the above screenshot of my unmodified XnViewMP 0.68 copy 'View > Info' settings seem to be listed in Insert >> , so the omission is probably an oversight...
