As a native speaker of russian and ukranian languages, I must admit that corresponding translations are incorrect.
This statement is based on opinions of many native speakers who have just acquainted themselves with the seventh release candidate of xnview.

You know Pierre, it has always been so, even in 1.74. This translation has been confusing me and other russian people for a long time, therefore I always use xnview in english. And now there is ukrainian translation which is not much better than russian one.
BTW, international letter code of Ukraine is UA instead of UK which identifies United Kingdom, I bear in mind language DLLs of xnview, ukrainian one is named xnviewuk.dll

Hello,
I'm very disappointed after reading the last answers of Pierre !
Not any word about the wonderfull suggestion of changing the language support for xnView.
I find i'ts a very good idea to make language files accessible for everyone by choosing text mode ! ... and also a big step for translating XnView in many more languages...
Please Pierre don't miss such a luck !
Friendly
