XnView does not resize image - version 2.25
Hello,
first of all many thanks for this great piece of free software, I appreciate it every day!
Unfortunately since version 2.25 I experience an issue when I try to resize an jpg image. I've tried various images with different size to shrink them down to, i.e. 480x480 px.
First I select an area and crop the image. The size is now still larger than 480 x 480 px.
Then I don't save the work and do a resize of that image down to 480 x 480 px. Nothing happens.
I do the resize again again, nothing happens. The image still has same size.
At times XnView even crashed but I cannot reproduce that behaviour.
Would be great if someone could check my findings and let me know if that is a reproducible bug on other installations.
I'm using XnView on a Windows 7 64bit machine with 32GB RAM.
Thank you.

Hello! Firstly, thank you for a wonderful program!
For many years, regularly worked perfect. But with the upgrade to v2.30 happened, in my opinion, critical bug. The situation is similar with the topic-starter, but not when resizing, and by simply zooming in more than 100%.
Windows 7 x64.
P.S.
Also, sometimes after "overzooming" do not work mouse wheel or keyboard buttons for "next/previous file".

Yes. Now turn off this option and everything seems fine. But I liked it...xnview wrote:do you use high zoom quality enlarge??
Re: XnView does not resize image - version 2.25
I have the same problem with v2.30. And I did not have it before that update. I turned off high zoom quality enlarge and it is ok, but it is much pixelized now... And the problem with this black and white picture zoom is only happening with .jpeg files.

The new beta of v2.31 is fixed and everything works as before. It Seems.ivoat16 wrote:I have the same problem with v2.30. And I did not have it before that update. Re: XnView does not resize image - version 2.25
That saves me reporting this issue as well
But I wonder if it is possible to have a look again on something related that I reported long ago already and which is still the case after so many years: the option hi-quality zoom works only in one monitor mode. I use 2 monitors with browser left and picture in full screen view on the right via F11. When zooming that one with +- keys the HQ is disabled. It only works when I double click on a file in the browser, showing that file in full screen on the left monitor (basically within a tab in the browser).
